The X-58 Nyx does not win on raw numbers, it wins on information. Its max-level Apex, X-58 Void, runs subsonic and dampens the hit indicators your target receives — enemies get less feedback about being shot and from where, so every reposition buys you one more chance at not being pre-aimed.

Q1 Why is the X-58 Nyx rated S tier? +
Because X-58 Void dampens the hit indicators your target sees. In an end-of-round situation the enemy has less to go on when working out where the shots came from, and that is worth far more than two extra points of damage.
Q2 The X-58 Nyx caps at level 53 — is it quick to max out? +
It has the lowest max level of any primary (53), so on a small map like Shipment, eight to ten hours of play will get you to the Apex attachment.
Q3 Where is the TTK data for this gun? +
